Our Farm:
We are located in Cynthiana, KY. Originally from Lexington, KY we relocated to Cincinnati OH in 1992. After
about 5 years in Cincinnati we decided that we'd had about enough of that. We moved back to Lexington in 1997
and purchased our farm in Cynthiana in 1998. We immediately began to populate the farm with all kinds of
creatures great and small, and we love them all.
We began breeding our dairy goats in 2001. We breed only show quality, pedigreed Nubian Dairy Goats. They
are lovely and elegant goats with lovely long ears. Most of our babies are bottle raised, gentle and easy to
handle and work with. We breed for quality conformation and correct udder form and strong udder attachments.
Soon after starting our dairy goat herd, we purchased a Kentucky Mountain mare for our farm and fell in love with
her calm disposition and smooth, flowing gait. Several broodmares later we have bred several outstanding
foals, winning many ribbons and awards in the show ring. We just love these horses and we breed strictly to the
Kentucky Mountain and Rocky Mountain breed standard producing quality foals that are beautiful in mind, body
and spirit.
We also have a variety of poultry; several breeds of laying hens, African and Toulouse geese, Blue Slate Turkeys
and Rex Rabbits. Our poultry are free range, completely cage free birds. They are very happy and provide an
apparently never ending supply of fresh brown eggs. Our rabbits are purebred and available w/ pedigrees.
We have most recently added a pair of Anatolian Shepherds to our menagerie. They are very effective livestock
guardian dogs eagerly working to keep an onslaught of raccoons, opossums, weasels and coyotes at bay. They
have rapidly and effectively brought our predator problems to an end.
